Your first visit
A first visit is a full exam of about 45 minutes with the doctor, and a parent stays in the room.
Before the visit
Fill in your forms on our patient portal, or on paper at the front desk. We check your plan if you have one.
Patient formsWhat to bring
Your child's current glasses, the prescription if you have one, your plan card and a list of any medicines your child takes.
At the visit
The exam, a talk with the doctor, and a copy of any prescription. If your child needs glasses, ask about a try-on day.
- Sudden vision loss, flashes of light, a curtain over your vision, a chemical splash or an eye injury needs care now. Call our office right away or go to an emergency room. If you can't reach us, call 911.
